My mom needs a website and direct mail
My mom is a psychologist doing her own private practice, and needs to advertising and website design. She works primarily with children, teens and families. I was planning to work on it on my own, but could use some help, either copywriter or another art director. She wants some good direct mail design, and she says her website needs some better design because the person doing it now isn't doing what she wants. And possibly someone who can program the site. So if you wanna work on some cool stuff and help her out, and MAKE SOME MONEY get back to me and we can work on something. I know what she wants, but 2 heads are better than one.
This is what her site looks like now, you can tell it needs some work. http://www.kalalea.com/drmorancie/index.html
Again, she is willing to pay, and we can have a cool book piece. It'll be a big plus if she gets better business because of it. So hit me up if you're interested and we can hopefully get something awesome together.

Ray Flash
This thing looks awesome. I'd be curious to see a comparison b/w this gadget and whatever method one would normally use.

Ads steal art/culture daily.
Remember the inflatable street art guy I posted about? Mentos chewed up his concept and spit this out.
Mmmmmmmm, street gum.

Creepy Videos
Holy Cow, is this really a homepage for a jeans company?
Why, yes it is. Watch in horror! Watch in joy. I'd much rather meet the first girl, than meet Pete.
Okay, yeah....

If you are having trouble viewing this, move the timeline button forward a bit and press play. I don't why it's stuck at the beginning. Great ad though!
Saw: The Ride (and the microsite)
Just think, SAW. And then a roller coaster. And then SAW. And then, well you get it.
I thought the microsite was pretty cool. It reminds me of several sites that were done a while back for LOST.
http://www.sawtheride.com/
I tried to play the game where you saw your leg off, but I could never get it all the way off. Let me know if any of you have a successful amputation. That should be my first and last time ever asking for that. And done.

Need Someone to Turn a Cool Idea Into a Cool Video
Hello Circus Performers! Britni, Elena, and I want to make a :90 video of our Fantasy Team project, a brand extension for Burton snowboards. We have the ideas, we just don't have the skills to make it look cool. If you could help us out, or know anyone who would be willing to do so, please email: natalieLritter@gmail.com.

Branding is...
Relevant definition of branding:
'Brands are here to stay. From a corporate perspective they underpin the wealth of many companies. They do this not just through tangible assets but primarily through their intangible assets. Consumers want brands too. At a basic level they provide reassurance of consistency and quality. But they also provide shortcuts for consumers. Marketing has become a language through which consumers can make sense of the increasingly complex world around them a world where traditional signposts and givers of meaning such as religion and government have become devalued. Brands provide meaning, which allows for the simplification of purchase decisions. This creates the phenomenon of loyalty, which in turn generates corporate value.'

You can prevent homelessness
By being my roommate.
My lease is up very soon and I need to find a place relatively close to school relatively quickly. In case you don't know me, I'm a sixth quarter copywriter and the 1997 blue ribbon "spoons" winner at the Habersham county fair. I pick up after myself and keep my mess confined to my room (where I usually stay secluded to).
I also have the option of staying in the house that I'm currently at. But I would have to find three other roommates. So which ever comes first really.
If you're looking for someone (or somewhere), or know someone who is, email me here or call me at 404.502.4503.

Wicked Smaht Dental Guerilla

looks kinda intrusive though, like there's part of the mouth in the gutter. You never know when the ball is gonna bounce back out and hit that last pin you missed.

And somewhere in there is Sylvia.

Sometimes I Care..
I Hate Your Myspace Page Because:
1. It doesn't look anything like the last Myspace page I went to.
Lack of layout recognition-->I don't care that much.
2. Your fancy page layout is too big for its own britches.
Lack of loading speed-->I don't care that much.
I Hate Your Facebook Page Because:
1. It looks too much like the last Facebook page I went to.
Lack of Individuality-->I don't care that much.
2. It tells me things about you that weren't meant for me to hear.
Lack of Censorship-->I don't care that much.
3. Applications running wild with your personal info.
Get out my face with your stupid intrusive games-->I don't care that much.
I Hate Your Twitter Page Because:
1. Your friends' conversations @somebody still show up on your main page even if they weren't @you. I'm not trying to spy on you like that.
Lack of Censorship-->I don't care that much.
2. You are overzealous about your updates AKA fuck your choice of salad dressing.
TMI-->I don't care that much.
Alas, there is something we all enjoy about this connectivity, so we continue expanding and ignoring. And/or caring that much.
One day soon, we will all be able to receive exactly the amount of info we wish about whomever we want from a single site in a streamlined fashion that doesn't assume we care that much, but still holds its individuality through the combinations of creativity and the appropriate limitations of said creativity.
Until then, check Here, here, and here. Oh, and here too.
P.S. Links that are too similar-->I Don't Care.

I was all excited about this website at first,
It's Suitcase Fusion's new version 2 promo website. But then it loaded all sloooow-like.

Lessons to be learned:
1. Get off my internets, you slow bastard.
2. Don't be too big for your own britches, AKA #3
3. People are too lazy to love your idea as much as you do.
